We are residents and friends of Akumal who are pro-actively working to preserve and enhance the quality of life within the community while preserving the natural resources that make Akumal a unique international destination on the Riviera Maya.
The association recognizes the strategic importance of Akumal and is committed to work constructively with the various government agencies to pursue and achieve the Council overall goals and objectives.
Nosotros somos residentes y amigos de Akumal trabajando de manera pro-activa para preservar y mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad, mientras conservamos los recursos naturales que hacen de Akumal un destino internacionalmente único en la Riviera Maya.
La Asociación reconoce la importancia estratégica de Akumal y se compromete a trabajar constructivamente con los diversos organismos gubernamentales para gestionar y alcanzar sus metas y objetivos generales.

Membership is open to everyone, including "Friends of Akumal" who are those who are regular visitors and those who share the love and commitmet to the area.
The core funding comes from Akumal property and business owners, but visitors and other interested parties are encouraged to join and participate.
You are welcome to participate at whatever level works best for you: contribute to the Community Forum, volunteer time, join a committee, attend a General Assembly meeting...
To become a formal member, you must sign the official membership book and agree to abide by the terms of our constitution, including meeting your appropriate annual contributions.
You can sign the membership book at any General Assembly meeting or you can contact our administrative assistant and sign the book at the council office at a mutually agreeable time. (See "Contact Us" on the Home page.)
La membresía está abierta a todos, incluyendo los "Amigos de Akumal", que son aquellos que son visitantes regulares y aquellos que comparten el amor y la commitmet a la zona.
La financiación básica proviene de la propiedad Akumal y propietarios de negocios, pero los visitantes y otras partes interesadas están invitados a unirse y el compromiso con la zona.

RESIDENTS AND OWNERS:
- Condominium Owners/Lot Owners - $200-$400 per year per unit
- Home Owners/Small Businesses - $499-$1,999 per item
- Condominium Associations - $499-$1999 per year (one vote)
- Larger Businesses: $2,000 or more
OTHERS:
- "Friends of Akumal" - $50-$199 per year
Members whose financial contributions are current will be eligible to vote on issues at General Assembly meetings.
Payments may be made at any General Assembly meeting, at the Council
office. You can also contact the treasurer or administrator to make
payment arrangements.
We are also in the process of setting up a PayPal service to accept your payments
when you are not in Akumal.
LOS RESIDENTES Y DUEÑOS:
- Propietarios de Condominios / Propietario del lote - $200-$400 USD por año y por unidad
- Propietarios de vivienda y pequeñas empresas - $499-$1,999 USD por unidad
- Condominio Asociaciones - $499-$1,999 por año (un voto)
- Las grandes empresas: $2.000 o más
OTROS:
- Amigos de Akumal" - $50-$199 USD por año
Miembros cuya contribución financiera actual, serán elegibles para votar sobre cuestiones en las reuniones de la Asamblea General.
Los pagos podrán hacerse en cualquier reunión de la Asamblea General,
en la oficina del Consejo. También puede ponerse en contacto con el tesorero
o administrador para hacer arreglos de pago.
También estamos en el proceso de creación de un servicio de PayPal para aceptar pagos cuando no esté en Akumal.
